The 2024 “Taâlem Advent Calendar” is a special music advent calendar released by Taâlem in November / December 2024 both as a ‘name your price’ digital release and as a limited edition Wooden Box containing 24 x MiniCDr 3″. At the time ow writing the box is sold-out but a repress will likely happen in 2025.
I am always happy to receive invitations to any of Jean-Marc Boucher‘s projects and this one seemed very special right from the start. Featuring music by Nimh, Dronæment, Maurizio Bianchi, Lecanora, John Grzinich, I:Wound, Orphax, Aidan Baker, Enrico Coniglio and many more, this collection also included a long track entitled “Hiss from the Temples” that I’ve created on purpose.
Since many years I have been recurrently suffering from one of the worst ills that affects creative talent in the modern world: the almost total lack of spare time. This was a nice opportunity to try to overcome adversities and get to work on a new piece of music. Please follow this link for more details about the entire release and my contribution.
